JOB PURPOSE

The job exists to collect revenue for CAA using the approved procedures in the Finance Department.

EDUCATION

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences or Marketing from a recognized Institution of learning.

EXPERIENCE

 Experience in performance budget based systems relating to revenue collection/customer attraction or any relevant field will be an added advantage.

 Demonstratable capacity to learn fast on the job will also be considered.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Demonstrable computer knowledge in Microsoft excel, word and Sun Accounting package and any other relevant package will be an added advantage.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.

Revenue Collection Process

 Collects all revenues relating to rent and other non – aeronautical charges from non-aeronautical revenue centres

 Participates in the in the preparation of banking process documentation for revenue collected.

Record maintenance

 Maintains an accurate and up to date register for all revenues collected and reconciles all receipts with revenue collection summaries.

 Updates /files and maintains custody of all operational files on revenues and follows up transactions therein.

 Actions pending transactions and ensures that they are all cleared

 Maintains and updates ASC registers and reconciles PAX figures from manifests and log sheets.
